World top-ranking tennis player Serena Williams saunters into shot wearing a black one-piece leotard outfit accessorised with fishnet tights that look more at home in an exercise video. She looks very sexy, even as her weave hairpiece dangles down pass the knave of her back.
She gets her tennis face on and we see a title big in red, contrasting against the black background. It simply says: “The world’s sexiest tennis player”.
In a similar coverage we see another woman, all bosoms (or busts), leotard buttocks, cranes into shot. The title says: “The world’s sexiest tennis gamer.”
This is when we twig that maybe this wasn’t going to be a lesbian session in a porn video flick but a bonafide video game. But, Serena Williams the sexiest woman in tennis? You can imagine how the blue-eyed, European tennis darlings will be sniggering at that. Everyone from Anna Kournikova, Maria Sharapova, Nicole Vaidisova, Daniela Hantuchova, Elena Dementieva, Maria Kirilenko, Anastasia Myskina, Nicole Vaidisova, Sania Mirz, Ana Ivanovic, Martina Hingis, Tatiana Golovin and Ana Ivanova.
For good measure, you could also include Olga Poutchkova, Sabine Lisicki, Caroline Wozniacki and Anna Chakvetadze. The point is regardless which Top 10 list you bump into online or via a Google search, it is unlikely you will find the name Serena (or even Venus) Williams in that list. This video game is a way to hammer home a point (or should that be volley) while having a laugh at the whole game.
For sure, Serena, fresh from a recent emergency treatment for a hematoma, does look sexy and certainly has the body to make this claim. Whether she is actually the sexiest woman in tennis depends on whether you like your chocolate au lait or mocha.
