This one is to silence any or all of those whispering voices…
I do not hate people based on their lifestyle choices
This includes whether they like sushi, pork or dead animal flesh
Or even if they like their organic vegetables, fresh…

I do not hate people because their colour is red, white or blue
Orange, purple, black, gold, green or any other shade or hue,
I celebrate the beauty of God’s creations, in Technicolor too
I hope this don’t come as a big surprise to you.

I do not hate people who think I should be seen and not heard
That silence and no communication from me is much preferred
To hearing a point of view that may conflict with their own
That I should follow obediently without a peep or a soun’.

This part is like a bridge, a connecting passage through the lines,
Or maybe just a break from the form, norm and rhymes
To provide relief or contrast to a path more versatile?
Perhaps to thank God for my skills, talents and style!

You see if I should hate any other person God has put on this land
It would be like hating the fact I have both a right and left hand
And ignoring the fact we are all descendants, of just one race
Regardless of our politics or the colour of our face.

Those who hate others know why they do so it’s up to them
I do not have to take on the world with all of its problems
But if I choose to do so, as I am democratially free to do
It really should be of no consequence to you.

But since you’ve made such a big deal out of trying belittle me
Of playing human Ten Pin bowling aiming to skittle me
I have to conclude one thing which is clearly plain to see
That you’re the one who’s the hater, not me.
